Welcome to El Karma in the Heart of Essaouira

A cosmopolitan and international town, Essaouira in South of Morocco, is a magnificent place to visit any time of the year since this city is blessed with an exceptionally temperate climate, making it possible to swim even during the winter. The town is celebrated by is relatively untouched beauty, it has recently been made a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From this laid back town, you can explore other places near by such as Marrakech, the High Atlas, and the endless beaches all the way to Agadir with breath taking sceneries.

In the heart of the medina we have a beautiful house to rent called El Karma ( fig tree in Arabic), which can accomodate comfortably up to 6 people.

The house consists on three floors with a patio and terrace.

The first floor is an open space that contains a kitchen with all the facilities (fridge, cooker, kettle...) and a very charming and spacious living room designed around a fireplace.

Going upstairs, there is three double bedrooms and two bathrooms with hot shower and toilets. Each room has its own name (Harmony, Peace and Love) which derives from the feelings, the colours and the personal characters which emanate from the walls, floors and cellings.

Renovated with local and natural materials, using traditional techniques to create a contemporary space, the house integrates lights and colours that give you the feeling of warmth, calmness and tranquility.

The terrace and patio offer you a window to the clear moroccan sky, so you will allways be overlooked by the sun, the moon and the millions of stars.
